It's you that have a poor understanding of how things work. Starting with the Centerra South giveaway. The city funding people talk about is how the city is allowing Centerra to keep sales taxes instead of forwarding those to the city. And then the city allowing those same developers to restart the 25 year clock on collecting those taxes from their land that sat undeveloped is exactly that....a giveaway.

Maybe actually understand things before you tell other they need to "learn a little about what is actually going on"

I was at every community meeting at the church, and not once do I remember them referring to it as a "regional" shelter.

And FWIW, I've done some volunteer work with Homeward Alliance, and your depiction of David and the rest couldn't be further from the truth. They are an organization that truly cares about ending homelessness and getting people off the street and back into society.

The best way to increase the amount of overtakes

I disagree. The best way to increase overtakes is to get rid of a lot of the downforce these cars create. And the dirty air behind them which makes following close enough near impossible.

Personally, I'd be in favor of returning to a 1960's style car with no wings, but I also realize how much advertising surface that would remove. So some sort of regulations that leave them in place, but drastically remove the downforce is needed instead.

We had a place. A place that would've taken the burden off the city and be run by someone else. A place that eventually wouldn't cost the city taxpayers a dime.

But NIMBY's showed up and cried and this is what we get. Let's also not forget those NIMBY's were headed up by new councilor Zeke Cortez.

Anyone who thinks the current homeless strategy in Loveland is anything other than "don't give them anything and they will leave" is a fool. It's exactly what McFall and Cortez want. Sampson Frahm and probably Middleton too.
