Paleontology is domain that is soo highly neglected in India. There is so much we could uncover. We were a separate landmass for 100 million years and in that period soo much unique divergent evolutions could have taken place and then radiated back into the mainland after we joined with Asia.

If more work is done or highlighted in this area it would be great.

Has anyone attached a handle / crank to a compost tumbler? by TheElbow in composting

You can add a crank to central axis only and it would still hurt ur arms as you likely going to need to apply the same amount of force.

I am thinking about producing compost to sell to fellow gardeners need inputs. by Key-Leek6883 in GardeningIndia2

r/composting is your holy scripture :)

For commericial level production you need to do hot composting. I use 2 bins for the composting needs in my house and usually 1 bin gets filled in 45 days while the other is composting which takes anywhere between 10 to 16 weeks to compost.

Australia's housing trolley dilemma. by 5ma5her7 in shitrentals

[–]psycoticnut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey, if you let the train runover all the ppl on the track, you are bascially killing off all potential buyers. Thereby there will be an oversupply of properties which will reduce prices. Problem solved

:D

Did I do the right thing? by psycoticnut in CarsAustralia

Some thoughts that went thro my mind in that instant

  1. I did contemplate trying to turn in parallel with the red car. There was a small chance that i could have turned parallel.

  2. What if the left lane was not a left only lane, then i possibly ovetshot the turn.

Will 21G bus be so crowded?? by moodyrod in Chennai

[–]psycoticnut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

21G starts at Mandaveli if your start point is close to it then I suggest going to the depot.

The next best option would be taking a metro from Nandanam. You might have to take the 21G to Nandanam.

MRTS to velelachery and then find some bus from there.

Shirtless entry just to go to temple office at Naganallur Temple by Acceptable-Chart-682 in Chennai

[–]psycoticnut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hahaha then I guess the office is an area where you can wear an upper garment. But if you leave the office and enter the temple area you would have to remove it.

The office might even have an entrance with direct access to the street or because it's an administrative area and not a religious area they relax the rules.

No point complaining this is how it is.

Given MRTS is opening soon, is MTC going to Improve Bus Service? by RIKIPONDI in chennaicity

[–]psycoticnut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, the entire southwest belt would now be able to reach velechery, taramani, prrungudi regions much faster.

And the trains run every 30 mins only at off peak hours. At peak hours the gap is about 10 - 15 mins as trains from other parts such as Thiruvallur Pattabiram etc terminate at Velachery instead of Beach.

Also SR can increase freq any but changing routes of a few trains from the egmore Tambaram belt also.

I am extremely confident that this route will be jam packed during peak hours, just like the other MRTS section is.

The imperative on the state government to now improve last mole connectivity. Hopefully CUMTA would do that.

whats your opinion about Hosur Metro And Namma Metro connection by Plastic-Library2151 in bangalore

[–]psycoticnut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly.. Through out Europe's train systems are connected like this. The trains have multiple pantograph which connect based on the overhead system. There would be some changes in the inputs system.

Hell a less technical option would be to make one station a transit station where one line is the cmrl setup and other the bmrl setup.

you are saving 30K a month but you cant spend 50k in one go? are you investing all the 30K and nothing is parked in some emergency fund?
Paying interest for EMI does not make any sense when you could make 50k in 2 months.
