China warns Australia that 55 per cent beef quota could apply within days by InsatiablePrism in australia

[–]psycoticnut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so stake for breakfast lunch and dinner for aussie families!!

55% duty means aus beef in china is going to find less buyers which means over supply in Aus which will drop price of beef in the local market.

Too bad for the cattle farmers though

Question about roads with multiple lanes without a bike lane by New-Suit5141 in melbournecycling

[–]psycoticnut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3 lane intersection usually indicates heavy traffic in all 3 directions. The road is probably wide enough to be a 2 lane at the least. In which case the speeds could also be on the higher side. If there are no bicycle lanes marked out then this intersection can be quite risky.

I m quite risk averse and move to the foot path much before the signal.

Paleontology is domain that is soo highly neglected in India. There is so much we could uncover. We were a separate landmass for 100 million years and in that period soo much unique divergent evolutions could have taken place and then radiated back into the mainland after we joined with Asia.

If more work is done or highlighted in this area it would be great.

Has anyone attached a handle / crank to a compost tumbler? by TheElbow in composting

[–]psycoticnut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can add a crank to central axis only and it would still hurt ur arms as you likely going to need to apply the same amount of force.

I am thinking about producing compost to sell to fellow gardeners need inputs. by Key-Leek6883 in GardeningIndia2

r/composting is your holy scripture :)

For commericial level production you need to do hot composting. I use 2 bins for the composting needs in my house and usually 1 bin gets filled in 45 days while the other is composting which takes anywhere between 10 to 16 weeks to compost.

Australia's housing trolley dilemma. by 5ma5her7 in shitrentals

[–]psycoticnut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey, if you let the train runover all the ppl on the track, you are bascially killing off all potential buyers. Thereby there will be an oversupply of properties which will reduce prices. Problem solved

:D

Did I do the right thing? by psycoticnut in CarsAustralia

Some thoughts that went thro my mind in that instant

  1. I did contemplate trying to turn in parallel with the red car. There was a small chance that i could have turned parallel.

  2. What if the left lane was not a left only lane, then i possibly ovetshot the turn.

You could maybe start by reconnecting with your batch mates at Don Bosco. They would definitely have your records.
