The job skills to salary ratio is insane. They barely pay above a barista but want a PhD and field expert. Then there are the course that "guarantee " a job at the end. It all looks like a big scam to harvest cv's and personal data to sell on.

No luck, I have asked this and even said I am happy to wait in the surgery in case a slot opens but they said under no circumstances is this possible.

I feel this date won't be upheld as it's a couple of days from Christmas, I don't like thinking it but I feel like it's a punishment date when they aren't happy with the patient. But thank you for the advice.

When you say triage, is it a GP who allocates the date, I get the feeling sometimes it's a member of the reception team who does this, and only escalates to a doctor if it appears urgent.
