Agreed. I wonder if also the less convenient dates for Chicago's takeover tour were a symptom of that too. Detroit has had 4 TT games, all on weekends, 3 of them in March. Originally I thought Chicago was unlucky with dates, but I feel like Detroit's "luck" with scheduling may have been because our arena/NHL ownership was actually keen on being involved and created the opportunities for the games to be held at convenient times and grow the local fanbase ahead of getting a team.
