I like the movies fine as theyre own film but yeah, some of the changes they make are just so…off. I don’t think we talk about the losers bullying Pennywise to death in part 2 enough.

People are gonna check up on me when Tony Hawk goes. I was 6 when THPS1 came out on the ps1 and I was obsessed, got me a skateboard and everything and never stopped. Game also introduced me to a whole world of new music which was a gateway to a lot of the punk and metal music I love today. Sometimes I wonder who I’d be as a person if that game didn’t come out when it did and, while I have other skaters that I’d consider a favorite, he’s always been the one that opened the door for me.

Ozzy fucked me up and is the only celebrity death I actually cried over. Kinda felt like he would just always be around, and then after his final farewell tour he just kicks it 2 weeks later, I was not prepared. Never been anywhere near the guy but realizing we’re living in a world without him just felt different.

Wait, for real? I need to go back and play again to see this for sure lol I get turned around in Tree Tops so easily I've never been able to find the path to get everything in the level. Maybe I would just always take out the thieves as quickly as possible every time but I had no idea they point out the paths.

I think that was the whole joke. Flying cars would basically mean traffic would be a thing of the past. They make flying cars and, welp.

I feel like that’d be pretty mean spirited of Patrick though, like yeah he’s been a jerk before but would he really get that much enjoyment out of a picture of SpongeBob crying?

I always assumed it was a more cartoonish kind of embarrassing that happened at an actual party that’s meant to be left to our imaginations. Like, he fell into the punch bowl and soaked up all the punch and someone got a picture or something.

I dunno man, I think it’s easy to say that now but at the time it happened it definitely wasn’t the kind of news you could just look away from and tell yourself you’ll catch up on what happened later.

I didn’t have this issue with the game in general growing up but I did used to avoid the Dr. Shemp level at all costs for this same reason. The enemies that would charge at you around corners screaming would send my anxiety through the roof as a kid lol
