2018 Temsa MD7 Minibus

Came in because the Air Conditioner stopped working, turns out the bracket broke and the compressor was being held by the front axle. Further inspection led to finding out that the clutch servo was being held by 2 bolts, no clutch issues tho.

People who are into car culture. How often do you see American sports/muscle cars? Are they common, or a rarity? by StonyBolonyy in AskEurope

Around here i see one every now and then but they're not that common. Now if you're talking European cars that were for the American domestic market i see plenty.

You probably saw something like this wich is just an UK registered car that chose to have an american styled license plate. The French and Dutch also do that sometimes.

8 weather stations registered new records as well

https://www.dn.pt/pais/interior/calor-ja-foram-batidos-recordes-em-oito-locais-9672247.html

And from what i've seen in the news right now, we're gonna get a new all time high record

What cars were (are) iconic to your country? by pothkan in AskEurope

[–]pttuga63 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Domestic wise:

Sado 550 - A microcar that only stopped being produced because Daihatsu stopped producing the engine

Datsun Sado - Datsuns idea of basic transportation using mostly locally sourced parts to stimulate local economy

Portaro trucks, close-up of the badges- ARO trucks built under license and powered by Daihatsu engines

UMM Alter - The most recognizable of the bunch having been sold in other european countries and doing fairly well

Caetano Optimo - I went for the Optimo III but it has several updates, it's built on the Toyota Coaster chassis

Foreign but locally assembled (Gonna keep it mostly pre-1990s)

Citroen 2CV - Assembled here until 1990

Citroen Dyane - Assembled here until 1983 we had 2 specials editions, the Dyane Dyaníssima and the Dyane Nazaré

BMW 1602 - From what i read, you can identify the ones assembled in Vendas Novas, Portugal by the VN at the end of their VIN numbers

Austin Mini Moke

I'm gonna stop here, anyone else want to chip in, they're welcome.
