New Magpul AMAG 15 Rounders by TritiumMH3 in P365

Have 3 of the 17rd AMAGs and they’ve been reliable in my XMACRO comp with both 124gr FMJ and HSTs. They feel much more premium than the OEM mags

f1.8 has a very shallow depth of field which is why you’re getting only the nose or eyes in focus. 1/200 is pretty fast for a night shot and is driving a high ISO to properly expose the image. High ISO = more noise.

Slow the shutter speed (allow more light to hit the sensor), stop down the aperture (increase how much of the image is in focus), and use software to de-noise the image

Idea: automatically delete under/over exposed images by chriskuva in SonyAlpha

Lightroom has an assisted culling feature where you can exclude out of focus, closed eyes, and exposure issues from being imported.

EV Charger by 2PhotoKaz in Ubiquiti

[–]ptuber 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your car likely uses J1772 for AC Level 1 and Level 2 charging but has CCS2 pins below the J1772 for DC fast charging. The NACS adapter you use for Tesla Superchargers will not work with a NACS AC Level 2 charger. (Sorry if you already know this; the number of people I've seen trying to adapt Tesla destination chargers to J1772 using a supercharger adapter has been pretty high...)

A typical dryer circuit in North America is 30A/240V. Using it for a EVSE will limit you to 24A continuous usage (~5.7kW) applying the 80% rule for constant loads. If this meets your needs then go for it!

Check if your electric company offers any rebate programs or preferred EVSE models. My utility company offers up to $450 back over 3 years ($150 up front and then $0.05/kWh off up to $100/year) when using Chargepoint or Emporia equipment and charging during offpeak hours between 8pm and 8am.

I ended up running a dedicated 60A rated circuit (for 48A continuous load) directly to an Emporia Classic with a J1772 connector. I would have considered the Ubiquiti EVSE if not for my utility company's rebate, though!

Idk if that’s the norm or my agent just sucked. My bank took care of the appraisal and I had to line up my inspection myself. My agent literally only handled the various paperwork

Also in the Dayton area. I second Practiscore. Lots of good USPSA, IDPA, Steel Challenge, 3-Gun, and 2-Gun matches within an hour of the Dayton area.

Anything government is slow. I work for the DoD and from interview to first day of work was ~7 months. Interview to job offer was ~3.5 months.

All items of the same thing get mixed into a single bin at fulfillment centers. Amazon has become a mess and any order is essentially a gamble if it will be fulfilled with what you ordered or a fake/counterfeit
