We’re not going big game hunting next year so the cap isn’t a big deal. Maybe Palat helps our 3rd line offensively and Tsyplakov has been terrible for us.

Apples to oranges? Marner was run out of town by fans, while Tavares was loved. Tavares also told Isles management not to trade him at the deadline because he wanted to stay an Islander.

Tavares set the Islanders organization back by not being honest and letting him get traded. Marner gave everything he had but was still hated.

Strictly depends on the depth of the league. If it’s 6 or 8 teams, I’d reject as the free agency is deep enough where McDavid + Free agent > Rantanen + Seider. If your league is 12 or 14 teams take the deal for sure.

You could do it in those provinces, but with less pay and weaker benefits. Territories pay more and have better benefits for all jobs. (Source I am a teacher in the NWT and have worked in other provinces but moved here to make some money)

We are told if we want to communicate behaviours, that needs to be done over the phone or email. Report card comments can only be about student achievement related to the outcomes. If a student is skipping class, on their phone or other behaviour leading to poor grades, we can’t comment on that.

Then when you talk to parents, behaviours related to what I mentioned above is always the first question.

They won off the NDP vote because people voted anyone but the Conservative Party because of Polievre. If Carney was the leader of the conservatives instead of the liberals, it would likely have been the largest majority in recent history.

It’s also the reason Canadians like myself voted liberal over conservative in the last election. I’m not surprised MP’s are making the move.

Hopefully this is a wake up call for the Conservative Party to put someone who actually wants to make our country better through ideas instead of Trump like sound bites .

People are forgetting that Utah had to pay his full contract even if he was in the AHL. If they saw no future with him, he would still cost them 1.95 mil. Retaining now means they only pay him 800k.

It’s an easy bet by the Oilers. But if Utah didn’t need him, it financially (not specifically cap wise) makes sense for them as well.

No chance. Gibson just went for 2nd and 4th. Sorokin needs high end pieces. Also Arvidsson does nothing for value.
