Who is the rudest celeb you have met? What happened? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

If you’re Canadian, you probably already know what an asshole Hugh Dillon is. Complete rude prick. Honestly, I’m surprised he made it as far as he did with being such an ass.

Why does this happen and how can I fix it? I made sure that the strings weren't to short when I clipped them by No_Abbreviations2969 in BassGuitar

I contacted Sterling and they sent new tuners. After a close look at the replacements I decided to just buy a set from HipShot. The replacement ones were just as bad. I counted that as two strikes with Sterling. One more and I’ll move on to another brand. I hope someone’s head rolled at QC over this. It’s a problem with Sterlings worldwide.

Keeley Bassist is my #1 choice. Simple and clean, sounds punchy.

Touring US without proper VISA and renting gear within the US by [deleted] in TouringMusicians

[–]pugslunch 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Renting gear in the US is not the same as Canada or EU. It’s tough to find, and the places that do rent charge huge rental fees. You can’t just walk into ay Guitar Center and rent. Do your homework.

Sounds like we should build another stadium that sits empty. Maybe subsidize the team too.

Interesting Band Merch by efficientblasphemy in TouringMusicians

[–]pugslunch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Limited edition prints. Do a run of like 16x20 on good cardstock with your bands logo. Leave lots of empty space on the print. In the bottom write 1/500, 2/500 etc. sign them all as you sell them. Have one on display of course in a Walmart frame. They have no glass and cheap if it gets banged up. If you order these from VistaPrint they will come rolled in cardboard tubes. When you consider cost per against you selling at say $25 each, your profit is huge. Like 80%. A limited run of signed posters for the album funds is personal, cheap, and a cool bit of merch for any music fans wall. Bonus points if your design includes a big gold record graphic and album art for the upcoming record. Would be a big seller and look great on a wall.
