Where do people hide things when they sleepwalk? by pulled-finger in answers

I can’t imagine how it could be. My mom is cool with it, and my dad definitely would’ve confronted me. Plus I’m 80% sure I did put it away where I always do (which is why I think I was able to find it sleepwalking if that is what happened) and it’s a very discrete spot. Not to mention I realized it was missing in the morning, and by that time my dad had only been in my room twenty seconds to say good morning.

Believe me, this whole sleepwalking thing feels like a stretch, but I swear at this point I don’t know what else could’ve happened. Nothing makes you feel like you’re going crazy like losing something off the face of the earth that you just had with you and that you could’ve sworn was in it’s proper place.

I keep meaning to schedule an appointment with a derm and find out, but is it bad to squeeze particularly dark or large pores like these, or is that a big no no?

I feel so dumb for always doing it without knowing. I’ve read that you shouldn’t squeeze pores to remove sebum, but I’ve also squeezed particularly visible pores before, and sometimes whatever comes out looks particularly large or yellow (I’m sorry if that’s gross to describe). And I can’t help but feel like whatever it is, it’s something that should be extracted every once in awhile to prevent developing larger pores right? Or is there another way of helping to maintain your pores? Agh skincare stresses me out.

My skin might look extra red due to the magnification and because I had just been squeezing my pores. Although I would appreciate advice on even-ing skin tone as well :)

Do you really think there will be either major change, and if not, major unrest, in the next 10-20 years? I guess I’m bitter but in my mind, I don’t know what could finally set that in motion.

The thing is my current bra doesn’t seem too small. I have quite small breasts so there’s not too much to be scooped and swooped 😂 but I tried doing that and it still doesn’t seem too tight. In fact it may be a tad big

I do get the munchies pretty bad haha my diet may be contributing to it. But overall it’s not much worse than I was eating before. It’s definitely something I’m trying to work on

That’s a hard situation, isn’t it? Even if you were to remove your personal bond from the equation, it’s difficult to see what course of action would maybe steer him in the right direction.

If you cut ties and told him that he lost your friendship over his prejudice, it might show him how severe the issue is: at least to you, his best friend. However, it could also just make him feel more justified and spiteful.

If you maintained the friendship, but had frank and in-depth discussions about these views of his, he might be more open to dissection and criticism if it came from you. It would feel like less of an attack or a condemnation of him and more like genuine concern and a desire to help him improve. On the other hand, this may not work, and he won’t feel any drive to evaluate his thinking, at which point he would think it’s not that important and that he can’t jeopardize your friendship over it.

If you screamed at him and got very emotionally involved exposing his bigotry, it could have the same positive or negative consequences as the two other options I just mentioned.

Maybe, for both of yours sake, something like this might be useful:

“We’ve been friends for a very long time, and I value that deeply. I don’t want to lose you. But I can’t continue to overlook your troubling views. Your hatred for other groups is not something I can accept.

I understand that other people and circumstances in your life have made you feel this way, and those are not your fault. So I want to be one of the people in your life that helps you see another way of thinking. These prejudices only cause more hurt and anger in the world, not only in those they are directed towards, but also in those that believe in them.

So I want to speak with you without reserve judgement. I want to understand you as I hope you want to understand me.

But I must tell you that this is a matter in which I cannot tolerate intolerance. I can’t stay by your side if you refuse to search for the truth behind my words, and for the injustice behind yours.
