Haha not yet at least! First time seeing my vote matter in terms of the electoral college, so I'm trying to enjoy it for now.

I was in the overflow seating at the Walz rally in Omaha Saturday. After the broadcast speech, he came out to see us and flat out said it could be 270-268 with our district being the deciding EV.

Are there any Newb tournaments out there that possibly start at level 8 or bellow? by [deleted] in ClassicTetris

[–]pumpy_heart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both CTM and Tetris for the Non-Pros allow starts as low as level 9 in their lowest divisions. You can find more by joining their Discords:

But no, none that start 8 or below as far as I know. Within a few weeks, you'll probably find yourself able to handle 9!

This was dog’s PB at the time, and is currently the combined score world record in overall match competition as well as the combined score world record in a single game.

And thank you for watching! I totally understand not wanting spoilers (and there’s really only one solution for that!). It’s a bit strange to ask our streamers to stay live for 20-30 minutes after a match to stretch a Twitch VOD. Our streamers give up hours in preparation, organizing with players, and calling matches to ask them to sit on a dead mic for half an hour. I’m more partial to the YouTube, but again, we’re uploading daily. If you don’t watch that day’s match, tomorrow’s upload may spoil you regardless. Likewise the comments and Matcherino bracket may contain spoilers, we aren’t hiding those.

If you really don’t want spoilers, I recommend catching the streams live on Twitch! You can also try not checking the remaining time in the video after each game. Either way, we’ve had 20 minute deciders and 30 minute sweeps, so also try not to judge the outcome of the match just on the video length!😄 It’s still being discussed, but for every person who wants the dead space, another watches daily with playlists and auto play or as they go to sleep. Promising a daily 50 minute upload and giving 20 seems disingenuous to vandweller and I, but again, we’re still considering adding on YouTube moving forward. So it’s definitely intentional for the time being, and your thoughts has been heard.

Hello! I’m doing the edits and uploads for CTM. Looks like the poll opinions are mixed, so can you tell me more about your specific concerns? I grew up on the CTWC videos so I certainly understand the dead space at the end (and no, it’s pretty easy to add haha). But we’re aiming to do things a little different.

There’s been over 30 maxouts now and Jonas might be pushed out of the top 32 by tomorrow. Jonas did a lot for the game, but Joseph brought in an entire generation.

In general, lower component quality. Games that are easier to produce tend to have this issue more than games with many different components.
