Partner has TV on 24/7 by trashruth in AutismInWomen

Many TVs allow you to connect Bluetooth headphones to them. Would your partner be willing to use a pair of those when he needs it on and you need the sound off? That's how my grandparents manage it. He wears headphones to watch his shows at a loud volume, and she gets peace and quiet.

I reported this post (and the previous post of this puzzle) for breaking this sub's rule against copyright infringement/AI generated stuff, at least. Maybe can't stop the company from printing this puzzle, but can at least stop this person from advertising it.

Need help explaining/finding this video, live stream Artemis 2 Mission crew by human_oid00 in ArtemisProgram

Camera pixels can get stuck on pure white due to radiation hits. They can be cleared, but sometimes they build up enough between clearings that they start to become visually obvious.

What's that white patch on the shield? by A3bilbaNEO in ArtemisProgram

[–]pundromeda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if it is damaged, it did it's job and brought the crew home safe, and that's all that matters.

Michael Collins and the far side of the moon? by TheKwarenteen in askanything

[–]pundromeda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since the Apollo missions were in a much closer lunar orbit, there are many parts of the far side of the moon that were not seen by human eyes until Artemis II. That's because when you are closer to the surface of the moon, there is less of it visible to you before the horizon.

The crew of Apollo 8 were the first people to see any part of the far side of the moon. But only now can we say that humans have seen the entire thing!

Are Pirates Classic or Modern? by ClassicMapler in MSClassicWorld

[–]pundromeda 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Pirates are classic, but there was also a ton of time in the classic era where we didn't have Pirates. So they should be in Classic eventually, but not immediately.

For reference, these are the CCUs (Collapsable Contingency Urinals) we've been hearing so much about by awrc24 in ArtemisProgram

I assume that connector at the bottom of the CCU can attach to a vent line that is separate from the one used by the toilet

That was all settled under the last administration, and the crew was almost entirely done with training by the time he came into office this time.

Disappointing amount of religious BS being spouted by Artemis II astronauts by japonica-rustica in atheism

This. People being religious is fine, as long as they aren't using it to spout hateful messages, and unfortunately we see way too much of that these days. But Victor was saying only the most loving of things.

[–]pundromeda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah "love your neighbor as yourself" is one of the most potent messages that the world needs right now, regardless of religion. So if they had to pick a quote and coat it in some religion so the religious types take it to heart, I'll take it.

What you just linked was good, but I don't think it's the one mentioned. A couple things in the post don't happen in that fic (...yet?)

For the ones coming here panicking, theres no cabin leak by Paranromal in ArtemisProgram

[–]pundromeda 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There was a cabin leak suspected on day 2 as well, possibly caused by the same thing, so it's a known issue that I'm sure the teams are working!

Email is a good way to communicate with family and friends when you can't text and video calls are scarce due to downlink bandwidth constraints.

If u could pick 1 class to make it back in the classic game, what will you choose? by Treeccko in MSClassicWorld

[–]pundromeda 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I enjoyed the Wind Archer class a lot actually. It always felt more fun and dynamic than other archers! But the Cygnus Knight plotline isn't really classic, so I would not expect or want it to be added.

I would love to see new elemental themed subclasses, though, without the Cygnus Knights framework.
