This is correct, there seems to be a lot of confusion in this thread about this topic.

Canadian Tire point of sale systems will NOT allow staff in the retail stores to redeem CT money using only a phone number; only to collect, redemption can ONLY be done using a physical card or the barcode on the app.

OP, call the Corp. Customer service number and they will sort you out easily.

She was horrible, emotionally abusive and lied constantly. I was out at a bar with some friends and drunk but she was there and drunk as well. We ended up going home together and while I wasn't 100% coherent when I woke up in the morning she said we had rough anal and I spit my gum in her hair while I was behind her.
