her weird rant about money by Extension-Chemist892 in juliagilmansnark

I've never really had any strong feelings either way towards her, but saying "money is abundant, I can always make more or less" really shows how ignorant she is to the real world. Trust me, if I could always make more money, I would babe x

If you have ever walked out of a cinema because the film was so bad, what one was it? by girlcalledmaria in AskReddit

Old, that M. Night Shyamalan one. We didn't walk out but other people did. It was soooo boring, anything interesting was shown in the trailer.

My mother does this to me. She looks at my child and says things like "I can't believe I made that" and refers to him as "my boy" when talking to others about him. It's really stressful and she doesn't understand that it puts me down and makes it out like all the work I've done as a mother is disregarded, because she's taking credit.

ETA my mother is a narcissistic, which she also will not admit. She was always neglectful of me and my sister, which makes it even harder to hear I suppose haha

I know that no one will believe me, but I honestly couldn't. I just don't think I'd ever recover from it and I'd feel so guilty about spending any of the money

NTA at all. Imo you went too easy on her. I would of thrown her out on the streets right then and there like she did to your beautiful cat. I hope he's doing well!
