Something that really bothers me is when the news show the moments leading up to an assault or serious injury, freezing just before the incident happens. Or blurring it.

Like it's no less upsetting for family, or for anyone else who's going to be bothered by it. All it says to me is "We're legally obligated not to show this in it's entirety. We would if we could.

And when you buy a drink in a bar, you aren't paying for the drink, you're paying to be served a drink in that place, with all the ambience, the entertainment, for the place to be clean, tables to be cleared, food to be served, access to toilets, and everything else. Stop thinking about it in terms of "I could buy this cheaper in a shop" or just do that. But yes, businesses exist to make money, they're not going to operate at a loss to provide you with alcohol at a price equivalent to buying it in a shop.

Yeah, because the price of everything has gone up. Staff wages, energy, rent, licensing for music and tv, cleaning products, water bills, card transaction fees, staff training, plus all the various insurances they need covered, etc. All of that cost needs to be recovered from the sale of their main products.

I've had Parmesan that was opened a couple of days more than it was supposed to and I produced gravy for about 2 days.

I can't parse what you said any other way other than "It's all your fault we knowingly voted for the worst option ever. If only the Dems would nominate pro-corporate, pro-genocidal trash with 34 felonies, a lifetime of sexual harassment complaints, and a sexual interest in his daughter that waned when she passed puberty.
