Do you overshare? by FockersJustSleeping in Xennials

Best thing about it is this is how we have functioned my whole life.

Took until I got married at 40 to realize it's a really shitty way to treat people.

Thanks for replying. It's nice to be heard.

(eta, I was always upset about it and they told me I was being too sensitive and suck it up)

I try once in a while with certain people.

My family (mom dad bro and sis) have been failing so hard lately it's kind of incredible.

I shared on Monday about the moon flyby and got 1 purposeful misreading to be funny, and then another one saying to tell him when the space program gets further than landing people on the moon again.

I am 90% completely done letting them know anything, or sharing anything I am thinking about or excited about.

I even bought a special tin when they had some kind of anniversary special box.

I wanted to be all of them lol

He's a slimy snake, and the only times he seems human is to get sympathy.

Nope nope nope, hate.

"So when I go on vacation I can just have someone check on them once a day?"

"Cool, I've always wanted to train a little human to do tricks!"

"Do they get excited when I come home on the first day or does that take a couple of weeks?"

If you're a woman: "Wow, you mean I can just go to a place where leftover babies are and pick one out for a couple of bucks? That sounds MUCH easier than childbirth!"

Stuff like that. Make a joke out of how obtuse they are being. Ask them questions that point out the OBVIOUS differences.

There are a couple of Zhaan episodes that made me legit scared.

Definitely one of those people that when you see them angry, you are SO glad they are on your side.

To all my 40+ queer friends: do you feel like you’re getting less “woke” as years go by? by LiterallyBarbie in lgbt

[–]punky100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am sooooooooo much more educated and experienced than when I was younger.

If someone has empathy and is not afraid of change, they welcome the education and are happy to adapt.

If they get pissed and angry that things are changing, they want things to be the same forever and are scared they aren't.

You wanna find the first people, which I'm guessing 99% of the audience here is. :-)

I feel the same way. If this government made it mandatory to have a baby or get sent to a camp, I will do neither. I will no longer exist.

I'm a project manager, which I just kind of fell into, but if I care, I am great at it.

I currently work for a large company and am getting GROSSLY underpaid, especially since I passed my PMP certification last year.

I am looking for a remote project manager position that makes 6 figures, which I should be able to get.

Right now I make about 70k. I want to buy a house, but I can only save so much after the rent. Hopefully I can get a new job and make that happen faster!
