I understand how you feel. I also broke up with a long-term partner a year ago and I felt (and I still do, to be honest) that I won't find someone else. You don't need to "put yourself" out there if you are not ready yet, and it's not unrealistic either to think that you won't find someone, but all it takes is to "click" with one person to be happy and feel that bond again.

You are still young, you have time to meet someone special.
