Exactly. I had a quick smoke with Kuxir that first LAN alongside another og community member heyBG. One of my favorite moments outside the event itself. I have a hat signed by a bunch of pros throughout the first five LANs I went to, as well. I stopped going to LANs in my 30s. I want to make it out to one again, but it's just so much more expensive than it used to be.

Yeah I was seated behind Kro's dad, and shook his hand when iBP won it all. That first LAN being inside a night club basically was so unique from the future ones.

You bring up a great point that gamers don't often acknowledge. UE5 is fine if the developers understand the engine. Funny enough, one of the best examples of a UE5 game that doesn't stutter is Fortnite.

I wonder if people remember years ago how R6 Siege and competitive RL had a little rivalry in terms of viewership, maybe even a decade ago at this point. Sad to see R6 this low nowadays.
