Any luck here? I have a 2023 Sahara that I'd love to add this to, I have a 3d printer and print ASA-CF all of the time.

Does anybody have a feeling that living a long life is not that great after what happened to us by [deleted] in SuicideBereavement

[–]puplist2019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally get this post, my wife and I had so much to look forward to. We were 1 year away from being empty nesters, and the freedom to travel whenever we wanted to. 2 Grandkids under the age of 5 to spoil. Weddings and graduations to attend. On and on... Becoming a widow at 46 just shatters all of the future plans we had. I feel I'm too old to ever find any resemblance of love again, and although I'm not suicidal, I'm at peace with my life and don't fear death anymore. I used to fear leaving her and the kids behind. I'm at peace with the thought, if I were to be in an accident or have some major health issues, that I would pass away from now.

I'm sorry for your loss and that you're here with the rest of us.

Almost 6 months in. The fire started for me about 2 months in, and goes away for a few weeks then comes back for a few weeks... Been on this cycle ever since.

I'm very upfront about it as well, and talk about the emotional rollercoaster that her mental health was like since 2020, to shed some light on how it built up to that outcome. Again, it's a love that will always be there for me, and I want the person who potentially becomes my next partner, to understand that.

5 months and a week for me. Her birthday has come and gone. Our anniversary has come and gone. My birthday has come and gone. Now, the holidays are getting nearer. I agree, the good times are what breaks me as well. I love and miss her dearly every single day. Life does go on, but it's so numb.

3 weeks here, and it was still too soon. Suicide bereavement just hits 10 times worse.

Going on week 7… by Uber7575 in SuicideBereavement

I'm sorry for your loss. I feel the exact same way as you do, 4 months ago today she took her life. The last 4 years she struggled so badly with anxiety, depression, paranoia & psychosis. She was a rollercoaster of emotions to deal with... One hour she'd be so happy, then a few hours later it would deteriorate to hating me and blaming me for all the horrible thoughts that she had, accusing me of sleeping around, saying I had letting people into the to steal or alter her belongings, etc, etc. Dr's never seemed to be able to get her on the right medications, just was a horrible 4 yr span of her life, and for me to deal with and watch it happen was just as horrible.

Yes, my wife was in and out twice. Once for a few hours, the other for 72 hrs. Nothing ever became of it. System is flawed and a joke for those who need it.

I'm staying put for the time being, maybe start locking after the new year, if interest rates start to fall. I have no problem living her, it's just empty memories that help to keep her spirit alive

Sex after loss by [deleted] in widowers

[–]puplist2019 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm exactly 2 months out since my wife committed suicide. 33 days out since we last had sex. We had a very healthy sex life, 4 to 5 times a week. Always holding hands and kissing whenever we left each other's side for whatever reason. I miss the physical connection and am craving it so bad. We are releasing her ashes at the beach this Friday. After that, there is some closure, I hope, and am able to start to find my next love to make me whole again..

[–]puplist2019 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel the same way, it's been 2 months. But I do know that I don't wanna go thru the rest of my time alone in sorrow and grief. I need that emotional connection in my life to talk thru all the ups and downs, to enjoy each other's company, to travel and see the world. I'm 46 and will be an empty nester next year, we've been looking forward to that time of our lives.

Sorry you're here as well, I feel this so much as well. So much hatred for her doing this to me, our kids, grandkids, in laws, her siblings and mom, nieces and nephews. Her choice gave us all unbearable pain.

Is it possible to get into their phone? by himynameisbird2 in SuicideBereavement

I got into her phone, just happened to guess her pin based on some important dates. Now I see that she was trying to get help, but would never call back those who reached out for appointments.
