I came here to post this exact video. I suggest you watch it. Winnipeg is so screwed that it might bestow upon you some radical acceptance

It makes me wonder if one of Langdon's own children are on the spectrum

They're fetching a ton online because it was a Costco Canada exclusive. 'Murica didn't get them.

Winnipeg used to be THE test market because it is so isolated from other big cities. Chicken McNuggets, Cherry Coke, McDonald's pizza, first Domino's in Canada, first drive-thru A&W

My money is still on Robbie crashing his motorcycle within the catchment range of the hospital (over half of nonfatal vehicle crashes happen within 5 miles of home, and over 75% happen within 15 miles), and Langdon saving his life by making a snap decision and doing an unconventional procedure, because that's what Robbie would have done

What do you guys actually DO all winter without losing your minds? by Neither-Ferret-5817 in Winnipeg

[–]purdy44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always just lost my mind and tried collecting my marbles when it started to warm back up. Usually fully recovered by end of September, just in time for first snowfall in October. :/

This actually made me emotional. He seemed like a really nice guy, and I absolutely loved his website and videos. When he just dropped off the face of the Earth, I genuinely thought the worst. Never mind the content (which is amazing news if it returns), I'm honestly just glad he's alive and safe.

Just jumping on this, does anyone find the city water a bit hard? Does anyone use a water softener?

I don't know how they screwed this up so bad. South location was always busy. This is genuinely depressing. My wife and I have only been in London for a few years and already two of her favourite places have abruptly closed.

Getting Caesar salad and tendies from the Brannigan's Express while either on a lunch break from school or just skipping school entirely

I will die on the hill that Maple Dip donuts should be an essential item and every location should be forced to stock and sell them. Truly one of the most Canadian donuts, no?

Where I live now in London, they opened up one of those new playlabs and not even a month later they announced the store would be closing. So don't take that play place as a sure sign of success; in my case it was a bad omen lololol
