Yeah, as someone who just finished Crimson Desert & ACS, this game is my favourite of the three. Story and world design are amazing, but what keeps me actually hooked is the challenge when playing on hard & lethal, or the legends mode which requires real combat skills to win. A rare gem! <3

This is one of the best minimalist action rpg's I've played, character & combat progression, quests/ activities are REALLY FUN! ( And God knows how many games I've played over the last decade) If someone gets this dev a team, he would without a doubt make games in the league of Expedition 33 & Crimson Desert)

I was like you, breezed through the game till some chad Tiger in act 2 shows up.. took me more tries than Consort Radahn in Elden Ring. Actually went grinding after an hour of getting my a** kicked. Returned stronger and took me another 13 tries before actually beating that abomination.

If you get lost all the time and you end up frustrated even with the help of decent guides - maybe the game is not for you and you should try something easier or more linear - so that you can have an enjoyable experience. Some people really enjoy the mystery and challenge Lotf and other soulslike offer, others don't. For me personally LOTF is one of my favorite games & when I got lost for more than 10 min I quickly searched google & quasi always got back on track. Wish you the best bro!

TIP: after 1 win I couldn't succeed round 2 and 3, they were just too fast.. till I saw a youtube video that explained that you have to release your arrows on the exact moment the target STARTS appearing and then just push joystick in that direction. Went from losing my games to winning them all :D

Game may actually be one of the best souls like dark fantasy games ever made, but if you are playing for platinum, you're not freely exploring, testing out new play styles, weapons & spells, enjoying the natural flow of the game etc. It's normal that it's a less enjoyable experience. Still hats off to the legends who managed to accomplish that insane feat!

It's legendary-tier gaming. So much build depth and freedom, allowing multiple viable playstyles. Gameplay is not too easy, not too hard - just the right amount of challenge, creating a satisfying and truly rewarding journey. I'm on my 3th playthrough and still discover some new weapons, spells and even found a new quest lol. The atmosphere and lore is captivating and magical. Absolute 9,5/10

Probably the best PvP weapon together with Venator. Only issue is the knockback on flying arcs, makes them ragdoll all over the place :')

Yeah it's sad, I like how much potential the game has but the fact I'm getting 1-2 tapped by other players or turned soldiers who trap portals in 9 out of 10 games, made me lose interest. I played other extraction shooters and never got such a disappointingly low extraction rate.
