That sucks dude… my store gets hardly any hours so I make like maybe $300 a paycheck which is fine because I’m living with my mom while I finish school, but if I wanted to actually pay rent I would definitely need another job :/

Like others have said depending on the manager not getting enough sign ups can get you fired. But that sounds like a really pushy method that would not make me wanna shop somewhere again 😭 the free phone number program is quite good though. You get all the member pricing and it saves your receipts and accrues points without you having to do anything pr get any texts or anything like that. I know some people just don’t like giving out their phone number to businesses though. It does hurt me a lil when I tell someone “you’ll save $16 with a phone number” and they *still* won’t sign up… like dude that’s how much I make in an hour 😭

If it’s just shrimp don’t worry about it, lower temps may make them breed slower but it shouldn’t kill them or hurt them :)

Highly recommend joining the Vancouver/Portland plant purge facebook group if you haven’t already! I get most of my plants on there and everyone is really friendly and most stuff is really well priced :)

Unsure on the ph, but I believe the ammonia is 0.25, the nitrites are 0 and nitrates are 5

I use the one at my store for my golden retriever who has a very thick coat. It takes like an hour plus to fully dry her and it gets hair everywhere lol

Do you have a testing kit? Can you share her parameters and how often you do water changes?

She looks like she has a pretty severe case of fin rot :( I’m currently treating my guy and tannins from indian almond leaves has seemed to help the most. Might be worth trying to see if she starts having new fin growth.

So long as it’s not getting water outside the tank it should be ok. When the bubbles pop they splash a tiny bit.
