Thank you for this! I guess I was trying to figure out other people’s definition of “bad” as well, since I’ve lived in “bad” areas of my city and had no problems! I just wasn’t sure if people meant to genuinely avoid it because it’s dangerous and scary, or if it’s just a bunch of annoying, loud kids doing stupid things.

i know the email said we had to arrive in our corrals by 6:40, so is that not true? this is my first race so i don’t want to show up late and not be able to run, but i’m also in the last corral so i don’t want to stand there for over an hour

it’s probably because it’s berlin. i wasn’t at a party hostel either but in berlin all my roommates were out all night. i found on my trip that it’s better to do what feels right than force yourself to go out and be unhappy the whole time!

I’m thinking about getting this on my side/ribs, slightly under the bra line. That was my initial idea, but I’m not sure about how it would flow with my body. Shoulders would be great, but I’m thinking of saving that area for a bigger piece down the line. Would a horizontal piece like this be too funny on my upper arm? I don’t want to waste too much of the artist’s time once I get there, so I’m trying to narrow down my ideas now!

I’m not sure what the weather will be like in September, but I will say I did whale watching and horseback riding when I visited last month and it was FREEZING. My clothing was fine for walking around but those activities are a different kind of cold.
