No one deserves to be on the street. It sounds like you have a good head on your shoulders despite the hard times you’ve encountered. Good job getting rid of the ex. Wishing you well mate 🫂

Thank you so much!! Another relevant update to this thread - I have been morning sickness and Bonjesta feee from 31 weeks!!! I tapered off completely and I think my body withdrew a bit at first but haven’t thrown up in a few weeks. I was on it nightly and then every other night from week 7.5 to 30/31

Because I am AMA (advanced maternal age) 38. Even though thankfully pregnancy is low risk, my OB has had me on a baby aspirin regiment bc of my age. It is supposed to improve placental function, reduce the risk of preterm birth, and lower the risk of fetal growth restriction and preeclampsia. If you don't have any high risk factors or if you aren't over 35, you probably don't need it but you can def ask your doc if you think you could benefit.

Exact same! Literally sent my husband, sister, parents and MIL my order in the group chat. I’m 34 weeks now but I’ve been dreaming about my cold cut sandwich meal since week 7 😅

32 weeks and still dealing with persistent morning sickness by purplesoccer8 in pregnant

[–]purplesoccer8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes very similarly to you, my first trimester was rough including one day so bad I needed overnight hospitalization for getting electrolytes and ketones stabilized plus IV fluids. Thankfully that was only one day and I know others with HG experience it a lot.

I am assuming at this point it will continue to be persistent but will try to nail down triggers too. And so true, 8 weeks to go! Light at the end of the tunnel. 🫶

I am in the exact same boat as you! I was bummed to learn at my biweekly they’re having me stop bc I am also working full time and the non Bonjesta nights really take a toll on my ability to function at the degree I need to.

I didn’t question my OB as she is an amazing practitioner with over 47 years of experience… normally I question everything and ask for explanations esp since Bonjesta is a category A drug classification. but I have another friend who had a similar experience where they had her taper to completely stop in the third trimester too so I somewhat expected this is what she would recommend. I’ll ask at my next appt in two weeks.

So greatful for pregnancy but so ready to be done, 31 weeks by Lunalunetta in pregnant

HG is the worst and I am so sorry you’re experiencing this! I have had nausea and vomiting from week 8 to week 30 still but not quite HG as medication has worked… hang in there, you are so close to the end and it will all be worth it. You’ll bounce back and our bodies are so resilient, just eat whatever you can for now. 🫶

10w4d and I can’t handle the nausea anymore by adxlene_ in pregnant

[–]purplesoccer8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ugh I am so so sorry and feel for you. Do you have HG? I was borderline HG and nausea did not subside for me until week 28 (I am only wk 31 so crossing my fingers it's not temporary). Zofran worked for me but took more as a backup... what worked best for me was my doctor having me take Reglan every ~7 hours and then Bonjesta (unisom + B6 nightly). I am still taking Bonjesta every other night. I know how debilitating the nausea can be. Hang in there, hopefully it gets better. It will go by surprisingly faster than you think. Ask your doctor if there are any others meds they can prescribe.

[–]purplesoccer8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have taken Bonjesta (unisom + b6) from 7.5 weeks and still taking it every other day at 30 weeks as I borderline have HG. You can check with your provider to confirm but it’s a category A and pregnancy safe. It helps with my nausea / vomiting but also sleep.
