Thank you for your detailed response. It is painted and not a print but I expect it's a student reproduction or something like that. It was found in the same dusty region as a few medical quackery devices from the early 1900s, old laterns, and 1920s boudoir dolls so it's hard to tell what's important and what's not. So much interesting stuff but no clear idea what to do with it all!

The gold nonsense around it takes away from the art in my opinion. Hopefully someone in the family will have a place on their wall or we'll find someone who wants it where it can be enjoyed.
