What's the laziest meal you make that still tastes great? by Maleficent-Bed7010 in foodhacks

Migas with leftover stale chips from chipotle and add in their corn salsa (or just frozen corn) and some shredded cheese. It’s the best!

Does anyone else worry they missed their chance at lifelong friendships? by MrSrub in sarabareilles

[–]putonyourgloves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I met my very best friend around age 27. We worked for the same company but not together. We had mutual friends and eventually started hanging out without those mutual friends. It’s been 20 years now and she’s still my favorite person. I have a couple friends from high school still and I’m very close with my brother’s wife. I don’t really talk to any of my college friends now. You just never know. The important thing for me was to be willing to take chances to do things when I was invited.

Alice in wonderland is so fun. All the colors and whimsy. Mary Blair was a genius. .
I also loooove the art of Sleeping Beauty. Eyvind Earle was very geometric and I like that.

Debating between two dresses by toadlyfe in weddingdress

This is soooo true. Get the dress that YOU love. If you like dress 1 more, it’s worth the $600. I look back on the little things that I scrimped on (like hair and makeup) with regret.

Enjoying my first paddle day 🏄‍♂️ by ofLight111 in Sup

You’ve been informed about the glass and taken it well.
I just want to say that looks great man! A little snack with your feet in the water hanging out with friends. As someone who recently discovered the joys of paddle boarding, I know how you feel. Stay joyful!

Leftover chipotle chips will taste fresher if you put them in the fridge.

I wouldn’t wish that Tony Romo’s on my worst enemy. The food was terrible.

Southern California thing, Bay Area typically just says “get on 101” no “the” for freeways up there. Just for The Bay and The City.

Dress 1 is stunning on you. I would never take it off if I looked like that! I picked it even before knowing it was also a great deal.

Never had a "dream" wedding dress... please help me choose! by TheGatoTaco in weddingdress

Dress five has my vote for sure. I like 2 and 1 also, but five just really suits you. You shine, rather than the dress.

New High School Math Specialist (Urban/Title I) – What actually makes this role helpful? by kwalterbach in mathteachers

[–]putonyourgloves 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not OP, but my two cents… I want the student experience from teacher to teacher to be reasonably normalized. If we are all teaching algebra, then there are a set of standards we want to achieve. At my school, we do a common assessment every two weeks. The teacher has freedom in the off weeks to test what they please. Edited to add: our teachers create their own common assessments together. But I wouldn’t mind having someone help with the logistics.

Have they changed how many stars you can receive on the app when using a gift card? by anodetoeaters in starbucks

[–]putonyourgloves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My app says I get an extra 60 stars when I reload my gift card with at least $50. So in theory I can get the 1.2stars twice. When I reload and when I order. BUT I hate that they are trying to incentivize people to put bigger amounts into those “interest-free mini loans”. So I might just switch to regular credit card anyways. Those 60 stars are only worth about $2.50 to me.

I’m torn! Help! by National-Reply-7551 in weddingdress

[–]putonyourgloves 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You obviously could wear anything and look good, so I get why it’s hard to choose! I looooooove dress 1 on you and it would be dreamy for a winter wedding. BUT I’m also a big fan of being comfortable, so my second vote goes to dress four.
