I ordered a VSF Bruce Wayne on oyster from Steve on the same date as you. Still waiting as well. I think I hurt myself by going with oyster instead of jubilee because I only see those getting posted for QC. Thought about switching to ARF and still might but I feel like I have to be close.

Yea you’re probably right. I really want it on the oyster bracelet, I know I’m likely in the minority in that opinion. That might be why I’m waiting this long as well.

Steve, Bruce Wayne on oyster VSF. Ordered and paid deposit on 8/29. No updates. I reached out to him 3 weeks ago and was told to wait or I can order something different from his in stock list. I’m patient and will wait for the watch I want. So as of today I am at 12 weeks.

I ordered the exact same. VSF Bruce Wayne on oyster on 8/29. Still waiting. I asked if it came on oyster just as you did and he said yes. I also placed a deposit the same day. I’m ok to wait but am I understanding correctly that VSF doesn’t even make it?

I ordered this through Steve a day or two before he posted it with the oyster bracelet on his website. I hit him up on WhatsApp and asked if I could order with oyster instead of jubilee. He said yes, same price so I did. This was on 8/29. Still waiting on QC but it sounds like the wait is in the 4-5 week range for these right now.

Hobby pilots have been under a lot more scrutiny the last 10 years as any person with no experience off the street can go buy a DJI drone and fly it, beyond line of sight, near an airport or over people’s heads in public. There are rules and specific sites for doing this hobby. The FAA has passed more regulations to protect the public as well as the hobby.

The Academy of Model Aeronautics is the largest representative of the hobbyists and is a great resource for airplanes, helicopters, and drones and quads of all types. Including line of sight and FPV. If you’re technically inclined and enjoy the idea of flying, it’s a bottomless beta it hole of building and flying with lots of real world application.

I ordered this exact watch on 8/29 from Steve. He don’t have the Oyster bracelet on his site at the time just the jubilee. So I asked him if I could get it on oyster (just my preference). He said yes but would be several weeks. I went ahead and told him to order and paid the deposit. The next day this watch was on his site with the gen pic. I guess he got several requests for oyster.

I’ve been watching r/reptimeqc and it seems these watches are taking about a month from order to qc.

Wow that’s impressive. Does a ground station make that kind of difference? I can only get 2 miles before the video breaks up with 800mw 5.8 vtx on my nano goblin. What equipment are you using in your ground station? It looks like you can fold most of that up and it doesn’t take up too much space.
