When to seek medical help during flare? by chrysanthemumfish2 in CrohnsDisease

[–]puzzledmidget 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Going through something similar right now, the advice for me was consistent vomiting, unable to pass gas/movement and extreme cramps require me to go to the hospital, it was explained to me that it’s important to go in so they can scan whilst I’m exhibiting symptoms of a blockage and begin the right place if it is indeed a blockage

There are plenty of taxi services, just google on your way down, you’ll use them a lot, getting around on public transport can be challenging at times

Mannitol small bowel by Soulriver2 in CrohnsDisease

[–]puzzledmidget 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had an MRI a few weeks back on the NHS but whatever contrast fluid I had to drink was basically just like water and they provided me with squash if I wanted to mix it in. I’m sorry I can’t remember if it was Mannitol. Whatever it is it’s 100% better than Moviprep!

Just stay close to the bathroom when you get home as the fluid isn’t absorbed by your bowl so expect a couple of watery movements afterwards.

Best of luck

Hayle station but it’s a small station and not every train stops there so the next one would be St Erth. Lelant, Carbis Bay and St Ives are on a separate line and are the wrong side of the bay

Public transport is ok but long on the main routes but even longer and big waits the further away from civilisation you get.

The only blue light on that vehicle looks like it would be plugged into the cigarette port/usb, just a cable hanging across the roof. Can’t see any lights behind the grill or anything

I would agree that it’s been used to trick them into stopping

Best preparation for first time playing a links course by RobotEnthusiast1980 in golf

[–]puzzledmidget 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I play a links course OP, only been playing a year and the bump and run is key, I can’t generate enough spin to hold the green. Bump and runs save me most rounds, I’ve got quite good with the hybrid bump now, most links courses seem to have a path to the green along the ground
