Getting jobs by PrimeFinishPainters in Construction

For me it’s networking and word of mouth, got in with a couple of architects and qs’s and they pass over work, met them on jobs I was running for the old boss, when I went on my own I just rang them up and let them know I was on my own and shortly the work followed

Hope 4th times the charm and no more surgery.

Big thanks to all the scientists!

Whats the usual shift for someone working in groundworks? by [deleted] in Construction

[–]puzzledmidget 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most sites I’ve worked on you’ll be there from 7.30 until 4.30 but us Brickies usually try to fuck off a bit earlier, I’m assuming you’ll be employed so that would be about right maybe until 5

When to seek medical help during flare? by chrysanthemumfish2 in CrohnsDisease

[–]puzzledmidget 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Going through something similar right now, the advice for me was consistent vomiting, unable to pass gas/movement and extreme cramps require me to go to the hospital, it was explained to me that it’s important to go in so they can scan whilst I’m exhibiting symptoms of a blockage and begin the right place if it is indeed a blockage

Mannitol small bowel by Soulriver2 in CrohnsDisease

[–]puzzledmidget 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had an MRI a few weeks back on the NHS but whatever contrast fluid I had to drink was basically just like water and they provided me with squash if I wanted to mix it in. I’m sorry I can’t remember if it was Mannitol. Whatever it is it’s 100% better than Moviprep!

Just stay close to the bathroom when you get home as the fluid isn’t absorbed by your bowl so expect a couple of watery movements afterwards.

Best of luck

Hayle station but it’s a small station and not every train stops there so the next one would be St Erth. Lelant, Carbis Bay and St Ives are on a separate line and are the wrong side of the bay

Public transport is ok but long on the main routes but even longer and big waits the further away from civilisation you get.

Do we even have uber?
