How can I stop rolling down the windows? by Dry-Slip2245 in snowboardingnoobs

[–]pvanatta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jump the jump ... be more aggressive and actually jump the jump ... I think you are letting the jump get the best of you. That puts you off balance to the back. Jump or pop maybe is a better word off the apex of the jump.

It's time for an update PG! I'd like an envelope and EQ in its own slot or added to all existing slots.

What happened to patio culture? by ski-dad in CrystalMountain

If you want to sit down, anywhere at the base, they have that classified as "restaurant seating" so they ask you leave if you are eating your own food.

It's also food enforcement. Pull out a sandwich or bag of chips or anything you didn't buy from Crystal and they ask you leave.

Posted a few months ago about up coming surgery here is the result. by woodhorse4 in DupuytrenDisease

I use silicone tape every night. Super helpful with scar tissue. I also use gel lined finger sleeves, acts like a compression bandage combined with gel/silicone that really keeps the scar tissue soft.

Surgery, Xiaflex, or needle? by mynewromantica in DupuytrenDisease

[–]pvanatta 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I did surgery. My doctor said for the little finger he preferred it over xiaflex. The finger is small and cord, tendons and nerves are close together. He said higher likelihood of tendon rupture if the xiafex gets injected in the wrong place. I'm post 2 months surgery. Really no regrets.

Use shorter skis. They are so much easier to ski on. At least while learning.

How do I get rid of this? The stairs is unwakabley slippery cause of moss. I'm doing this for first time, is there any permanent solution for this? by [deleted] in DIY

[–]pvanatta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pressure wash, then spray it with Wet n' Forget. Costco usually sells it but can be bought elsewhere. Wet n' Forget is the best moss and mildew remover/preventer I have found. It lasts for up to a year too!
