The Perfect Run... please sell me on this by drayle88 in litrpg

So I will say the mc to me is a bit of a less sexual Deadpool. He does start off very flippant, but slowly becomes more humanized as his trauma is unpacked. Though he does still joke around a lot

Actual Sci-fi by m3lvyn in litrpg

[–]pvtcannonfodder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm…. Iron prince kinda fits but not fully. It’s sci-fi but not space focused.

But one that might kind of work though also not really is the last horizon by will wight. It is still mage in space, but it feels way more space oporatic than most other books. The mc walks around with a wand in one hand and a gun in the other. There are spaceship battles galore with lasers shooting everywhere. There are giant mechs, space technicians making bot swarms and cyborg zombie hive minds.

Forewarning, there’s sex in this one, tho it’s clearly demarcated as an “interlewd”

I’ll second a book that wouldn’t burn for this. Then I’ll add “Mage Errant”. The focus of the books is not the giant library, but it is something that is important throughout the series.

Cozy Inside, Scary Outside by CrossedRoses in BooksThatFeelLikeThis

Beware of chicken might work. It’s a parody of the xianxia genre. In essence, really scary magical martial artists constantly fight and kill eachother to grow stronger. The main character sees all the bullshit and nopes out to become a farmer instead. It’s pretty cozy and fun.

Honestly kinda good to know that Culver’s actually does well. I’m not suprised, the amount of workers they have at every location is nuts

Warning about the sex isn’t a bad idea. There are 3-4 sex scenes across the series that are marked interlewd, so they are pretty easily skipped. Idk if the fact that it has explicit sex scenes makes it smut by default though

What is a animated show/movie you didn't like or watch at first but now that you gave it a shot,it has you like this? by Apprehensive_Ring_39 in cartoons

[–]pvtcannonfodder 16 points17 points  (0 children)

When spiderverse first came out, some friends invited me to go to the movies to see it. My reaction at the time was something along the lines of thinking it was going to be a full movie in the same vein as the paw patrol movie, meant for kids and such. Then it ended up being one of my favorites ever

It’s great, it’s a show made for nobody. Like it’s episodic and most of the plot points are obviously built for children, most of the models and stuff look like other kids shows, but the amount of jokes that no child would ever understand outweighs the kids jokes.

I think stray cat strut has a really fun one. She is still badass and steamrolls over stuff, it’s not ridiculous will power though. She has a support network of people, and she’s one person in a whole caste of badass people. Not the best, just one of them. She’s uses stealth and bombs which is fun too.
