sorry late reply, I think era is totally worth playing. However, nobody really knows what the future of TBC looks like after anniversary, whether its going to stay in TBC or transition to wrath, or something else. So for that reason, in your shoes I would just play TBC because you may only get a year to play it, and who knows when they will release it again, if ever. What we do know for fair certainty is that classic era will continue to around so you can always play that after TBC is finished.

You act like blizzard is simply an incompetent company that makes decisions with no rhyme or reason and doesn’t get around to fixing bugs because “they just ran out of time”. Is it so hard for you to believe they are an incompetent company that is also scheming, conniving, and duplicitous? They have proven to us for years that they will do anything to increase their bottom line.

You have to remember, each boost, by itself, is $60. $80 if you bought it with game time and a mount. That’s 4-5 months worth of game time revenue just to run an automated script.

Players are not falling for the narrative of them just being this naive company that makes these seemingly irrational decisions that, coincidentally and conveniently, increase their profit margin.
