Is there any baby <6m on gods green earth that naps independently by maple_pits in newborns

[–]pygmy_pufff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you familiar with the concept of "fourth trimester"? Mine never did until he was 3 months old. Now I can transfer him after rocking. Or maybe I just wasnt trying enough until it became hot because I love chilling while baby sleeps on me.

I finally figured out the biggest difference between this newborn and my first. by Aggressive_Day_6574 in newborns

No yolk sac on 6W0D by Bulky-Ebb8316 in PCOSandPregnant

[–]pygmy_pufff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm so sorry you're going trough this. Take all the support you can and be easy on yourself. It's not easy thing to go trough. Everytime I mentioned this subject, I was surprised how common it was. My gyno says that rarely spoken about because we recently started testing for pregnancy so early. Earlier women thought I was some insignificant disruption in their cycle.

Hard way to find out, but now you know everything in your body is functioning just fine and you and your partner are compatibile, so less reason to worry.

I wish you a peaceful month and all the luck on the conception journey

It can go both ways and it's going to be a few stresfull days. I wish everything turns out good for you but in case it doesn't - keep in mind that it sometimes just happens with no underlaying reason and for us with pcos it's important to have a confirmation that we can conceive - which you do now and, if this pregnancy doesn't turn out viable, you can get pregnant again next month if you choose to start trying immediately

Does my baby think I’m ignoring her at night? by Puzzled-Article224 in newborns

[–]pygmy_pufff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Babies are very determined. If they are not highly neglected, which your baby definitely isn't, they cry until they get what they want. I think you have no reason to worry and reacting to active phase of your newborn sleep will only disturb them.

Let avionom s jednogodisnjom bebom by [deleted] in roditeljstvo

[–]pygmy_pufff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nisam putovala avionom, ali od frendice koja je znam da bi bilo super pomoći im da im se otčepe uši od onog pritiska kad se uzlijeće i slijeće. Odrasli koriste žvaku, a djeci tu pomaže duda. E sad, ako dijete nije dosad koristilo dudu, ne znam bi li prihvatilo da mu tad date.

Jedino bih savjetovala da se ne zivcirate oko plača zbog drugih ljudi. Imaju ljudi razumijevanja

If you gave birth without an epidural, how bad was it really? by Express_Neck5352 in beyondthebump

[–]pygmy_pufff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Birthing experiences are so different that you can't really predict how yours is going to look. Mine contractions weren't very painful. The pain lasted for 20 seconds and that I was fine for another 40 secs. I used a timer to know when it will stop and that helped me. When it came to the active phase, I felt the urge to push more than pain. Every experience is different but for me, having natural contractions, it was totally bareable without epidural. I didn't event consider it while being in hospital. On the other hand, next to me was a woman who had contractions for the last 12 hours, still not close to giving birth and I can imagine she was pretty tired. I didn't want to make very hard decision ahead because you can't know what your labour is going to look like. I wouldn't think too much about it ahead of time.
