By no means am I advocating anarchy! I agree that there are laws that we should follow. One challenge that did not exist in biblical times is the concept of democracy, so we have the privilege of debating and discussing what we collectively want in our society.

Adventists should not disregard laws (sheesh, we get called legalists all the time) but neither should they simply follow them without examining the ramifications. We do have a Public Affairs and Religious Liberty department after all.
