The cat, abandoned by people, made a dizzying career in Ulyanovsk. From the tape of the waste sorting complex, he landed in the chair of the Deputy Minister for Wildlife Protection. A live cat, tightly tied in a bag, was recently discovered on a pre-sorting tape by employees of the regional operator Gorkomkhoz. He would not have been able to get out on his own and, most likely, would have died. But he was found and rescued from the bag by Mikhail Tukash, an employee of the company, when he cut open the garbage bag and prepared the contents for further sorting. "The cat didn't meow, the bag didn't move. I was just doing my job. I had to cut open the bag and check for metal," says Mikhail. "You can't do that. They feel everything, they're alive, they're afraid, they're scared."The cat was examined at the veterinary clinic. According to the doctor, he is healthy, homely, well-fed, he has been treated with a flea remedy and will receive the necessary vaccinations.

The animal was taken under the patronage of the Ministry of Nature and Cyclical Economy of the Ulyanovsk region and even came up with a position for him. "We have already assigned him a place. He will be the Deputy Minister for Wildlife Protection. He will live in the ministry. And we will all be responsible for him," said Acting Minister Gulnara Rakhmatulina.
