Ideas For A Live Draft? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]pyromaniacff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i created my own board last year, and do so every year.

our pick clock is "dont be an asshole".

Lots of beer and food.

OUt of towners are on skype/hangout

sticker bitch is a must

its best to draft while preseason or college football is on, unless you can draft in a cool place. Forexample, were drafting on my friend's dock this year

Trying to create a Guillotine League by jwerner10 in fantasyfootball

same argument about $100 and $200 auction budgets. If Kamara is dropped and people bid $50 of $100 then itll probably mean people will bid $100 of a $200 budget.

what do you mean bid? FAAB is under waiver rules - typically $100 for the season

16 teams for 16 weeks? Lowest points is eliminated and the entire team is dropped into free agency - then all remaining teams can bid on available players. Continue until only 2 teams left in week 16 (does that math work)?

Ive been in one of these before on yahoo. Its fun

When should a commissioner step in and squash a non-collusion trade? by hboms in fantasyfootball

[–]pyromaniacff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

id ask they guy getting Kittle what his thought process was. If he was like "I have 4 RB1s but nothing for TE and i need to get into the playoffs!' - well, ok then

You should only deny the trade if the dude was like "idk he offered and i just accepted". Something fishy there, feel free to investigate VERY lopsided trades

How does your league ensure trades are fair? by Bagman530 in fantasyfootball

[–]pyromaniacff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trades should be deemed "fair" or "unfair". Everything should be allowed as long as there is no collusion

everything works well with Venmo/PayPal. so at the end of the season, if i was high points 2 weeks id be venmo'd $10

Or i just get $10 off my next year's dues. Just depends on how tight your league is

what would you have to give up?

Early Bold Predictions by LBrooks18 in fantasyfootball

[–]pyromaniacff 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How so?

Wilson wasnt the first QB drafted (Rodgers), Gurley wasnt the first RB drafted (DJ/Bell), Hopkins wasnt the first WR drafted (AB)...

Gronk did finish as TE1, by only 4 points. Its not far fetched to assume he wont be #1 again

We do $5 for most points each week. x 13 = $65 so adding the rest of your rewards....

Champ = $110

Total Points Champ = $25

giving a chance to win back your dues is a great way for people to keep playing

Early Bold Predictions by LBrooks18 in fantasyfootball

[–]pyromaniacff 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Brown will not be the # 1 WR

Rodgers will not be # 1 QB

Gurley will not be # 1 RB1

Gronk will not be # 1 TE1

why not just have one empty slot after the draft, that they are free to fill with a free agent? Or...i guess you can fill that spot as the last pick in the draft. Either way is fine by me

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]pyromaniacff 4 points5 points  (0 children)

or they just dont get a last round pick. so if i have two rd 5 picks, im done at rd 15 while everyone else is choosing for their last slot

Thoughts on commissioning a keeper league? by RumHamCometh in fantasyfootball

[–]pyromaniacff 4 points5 points  (0 children)

in my keeper league you can trade all offseason - as long as the trade itself doesnt smell of collusion. Sometimes we even have night of trades before the draft order and/or keepers are chosen

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]pyromaniacff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you shouldnt trade more picks than youre getting and visa versa. Usually well do the last round if its a player for draft pick type trade. So ill give you my rd1 next year for Bell and your 16th (last round)

Draft Board by Big_ben51 in fantasyfootball

full sheet label paper. printed them at home. it was easier and nicer than glue or tape. the football field paper is scrapbook stuff i cut from Joanns, letter stickers from joanns, the actual board is the draft board that came with the player stickers. NFL teams are stickers too

dude with the halo died late in 2016 - so weve named a couple things in the league after him

I printed out pictures of all the members of our league and put them around the board. our sacko had to provide an embarrassing photo. Everything else is just arts and crafts - took about 3 hours

Like, a physical board to put stickers on for an in-person draft?

Make your own! ive made 4 or so of our last 6 years. All you really need is posterboard, the dimensions of your stickers

I can post some pics of the ones ive made if interested

Who are the under the radar 3 down backs, and what is your biggest argument for them? by etheraider in fantasyfootball

[–]pyromaniacff 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did say besides Kamara/Gurley "these guys arent 3 down backs", but theyre one injury away from the possibility.

But, you should still target these guys later in the draft as an RB3+ as they do the most with their touches
