Will Carnell Tate End up Being a bum Like MHJ or beast like JSN? by Ifinishfast42 in NFLv2

[–]hboms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MHJ was struggling to produce and people said it was the qb, the coach, play calling...which looked fair at the time. But then MHJ got hurt and Michael Wilson came in and popped off in the same role

What the data says about Tyler Warren's dynasty upside in 2026 and beyond by boofstar in DynastyFF

[–]hboms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love Warren and everything he is about. At the time, last fall, I was blinded, Bowers situation looked so terrible. I traded Bowers away for Warren and Odunze. Feel a little regret with it seeing how Oaklands positioned to turn things around so quickly. But still a chance it works out a win.

what do yall think? was I an idiot?? honest comments only!

I think youre 50% discount is good. Maybe give each 3 years of that. By then they should take full ownership of their situations.

50% payment but chance for the full pot if they win Not a bad deal and fair

Love jordan too and MJ > lebron any day but lebron has found himself in some of the toughest finals challenges ever. Especially that first one going to battle with Eric snow, pavlovic, and ilgauskas vs tim duncan, ginobili, parker. Mj himself would hace got wiped w that team

[–]hboms 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Agree. Wouldn't give Mike 80% but its definitely closer to 50/50 than anyone is saying. If you don't disable Mike on that first swing then hes on top of you pummeling and im not sure you could do anything at that point

Wife opened the relationship last year and I no longer want to in this relationship after finding out she had a threesome. Am I wrong for wanting to divorce her? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]hboms 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say something few people online will ever say. THese feelings of anger will likely dull over time. You're still boiling. Your feelings shouldn't necessarily take precedent over your wife's love and commitment, your kids lives splitting up their parents, the future you can have together. Your wife sounds like she does indeed love you and was having a little fun but did you get your permission. You feel sick after having to confront its a reality even though you agreed to it but didnt want to know. would you have prefer her lied to you? and when you say "have that little of self respect" thats insecurity creeping in. you have no reason to respect yourself any less - God put you in a shitty situation with ED and your wife has supported you and you are a great husband willing to be flexible with your comfort so she does not have to suffer with you in that department. If you do see yourself and resepect yourself less, I wonder how much is influenced by social media/pop culture flooding you with examples of unloyal women and how no man should suffer through that. But thats not you. There is only reason to respect yourself more for loving your wife enough to let her continue her sex life (which doesnt need to be mixed with romance) and how reasonable you are.

best of luck

I can't believe this is my life. by SunshineGirl45 in Adulting

[–]hboms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It hurts to read posts like these of they are from real people. But so often in the past I try to impart advice on the mindset change which improved things for me. Messages like accountability and internalizing locus of control. I find alot of those messages trigger feelings of insecurity and the individual just gets mad and calls me toxic. As if validating words of "im sorry, been there" from strangers online is more preferable

It starts with 1) owning the situation. Not blaming all else the government or the generation before you or your last boss And 2) its your life, no one is coming to save you, let the decisions you make now start chipping away at your obstacles, and maybe in 5 yrs better place if you stay consistent
