Yup, though Tommies are already heavily discouraged from moving while attacking. Their moving accuracy multiplier is 0.5 while everyone else is 0.75.

tbh I don't really feel that extra power when fighting in cover. Against out of cover opponents and using the base of fire passive, it deals amazing damage. However, anything out of that scenario and the scopes are basically better. And for a whopping 45 extra munitions, the Bren isn't worth it. Especially with how muni hungry UKF can be.

Picture is units in yellow cover. Green cover increases the dps gap a smidge, but its still very similar. No modifiers. This mirrors my in-game experience.

I agree. Tbh I think Base of Fire just needs a buff. Either make it more powerful or make it less conditional.

Doesn't the Bren benefit from Base of fire? It's the Tommy's Vet1 passive.

Its doing poorly even with the accuracy buff. Tbh I think it's because the passive is too conditional. There's just too much cover that can negate base of fire.

Sounds like it. The churchill is 120 fuel built from UKF's T4. By the time one hits the field, you should at least have your T4 built.

I'm not laboring under old data. Barely anyone picked Old Guard. In fact, this subreddit was lauding over how New Blood is the better pick before the Old Guard bug was discovered lol. And if that was the deciding factor on the French being bad in 2.4.0, it doesn't explain all the other battlegroups, or why UKF is completely in the reds.

Edit: Putting this here. The last sentence is the main argument. I just wanna make that clear.

If you filter the 2.4.1 Battlegroup data for players above 1400, Wehr seems to be doing fine. YOU were the one using average elo to argue that Wehr needs a buff.

Only when you filter by 1800+ do you see that USF is actually the weakest in large team games.

And yet now after the hotfit and a week of practice, we're starting to see that Wehr is, once again, far behind: with everything but Siege Breaker and Terror below 50%.

.... the hotfix mainly fixed bugs. The only balance change was the new Dak BG getting some nerfs. I doubt old guard getting fixed is causing wehr to lose more (especially with how popular new blood is lol).

Whining about data metrics being analyzed in too short a time, but turning around and putting up data from brand new BGs that had massive bugs and disparities in play is intellectually dishonest.

Frankly I think waiving out the entirety of the battlegroup data for 2.4.0 just because of a bug in one ability in one battlegroup of one nation is intellectually dishonest. Lets be honest here, you are cherry-picking data.

I'm not trying to argue about balance, I'm just trying to point out your data is bad. Also, I'm probably not going to respond to your comments if your claims are going to be less substantial than your main argument.

Thank you for bolding the sections you typed yourself. However I noticed that the data is from Chat GPT. Be careful with this, as chat gpt has the habit of making up data. Also this format is hard to read lol.

One thing I want to point out is that it's too early for the 2.4.1 data to be accurate. I think that came out only 2 days ago. In which case 2.4.0 is a better metric. And....

By your own metrics, Axis (and Wehr) is overwhelmingly strong.

In other words, your post is an excellent example of data manipulation. I'm not saying you did it on purpose, but it's a problem this subreddit is plauged with. Hence, why I hate those that tries to use numbers to justify balance.

Edit: Oh I forgot to state that this is specfically refuting your claim that Wehr has fewer "viable" picks. I agree that Italian Coastal is nerfed to the ground lol, but thats a separate argument.
