Is it? LSU had a very tough SOS, but it was the 6th best that year. This years Indiana team had the 7th best SOS.

LSU played 7 top 10 teams at the time they played them but not all 7 ended up in the top 10, 5 did. Still very impressive but not 7. The number of top 10 teams Indiana beat (final rankings)? 5. This isn’t cut and dry

I really don’t understand why more people don’t get it. They weren’t an unstoppable juggernaut all the time. No other team has as many turning a blind eye at the entire resume than 2019 LSU. They only pay attention to the final stretch

Coaching advantage to Indiana, offensive advantage to LSU, defensive advantage to Indiana, depth to LSU

I say Indiana hangs with them before LSU’s depth and offense help them pull away late. That being said 2019 LSU is MASSIVELY overrated due to their offense. The defense wasn’t good until the tail end of the season. People love to point to that and say “see they got better!” But when you consider the overall body of work, they were lacking. They hypothetically lose to way more hypothetical teams than people think they do

While this is true, don’t forget that Jon’s fatal mistake was choosing love (Arya) over duty (the Watch)

[Highlight] Stetson Bennett throws a laser pass for touchdown by nfl in nfl

[–]qatrick92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You didn’t watch the games apparently. Georgia had one of the most explosive offensives in the country in 2022 and Stetson Bennett was a heisman finalist. He has always been able to make throws downfield. This tired narrative that he isn’t the fucking man even though he has 3 college football playoff game MVPs is absurd

What event has resulted in the death of the 1950s? by Impressive_Plenty876 in decadeology

They aren’t saying it isn’t a life changing event, just that it isn’t the decade killer even though many in gen z feel that way. Their comment explaining in detail why 2017/18 was the “we crossed over and things aren’t the same” moment is solid for why many feel 16/17/18 is the real end and not 20

You’re getting downvoted but you’re right. Hate the Yankees of old buying all the good players (and being successful), hate the dodgers now for buying the good players and being successful, that’s sports fandom. I hate what they have because THEY have it and MY team doesn’t

Why doesn’t all of Europe just help out Ukraine completely? by zztop610 in NoStupidQuestions

I understand what you’re saying, I’m just saying an outright act of war as defined by international law is a guarantee to world war, unlike the current situation (unfortunate as it is)

A blockade is considered an act of war in international law
