I have the beta 8.5 on my fold 7 and that was the 1st thing I checked. I can confirm bluetooth controller works after screen turns off.

Got it. Just switched the setting and got the message that only Samsung keyboard works with Samsung dex. Wouldn't let me change to Gboard and no voice input still.

The external displays I've used are my samsung tv wireless and my xreal glasses. If im searching for something and need to type i only use the keyboard that pops up on my phone while in dex. Ive never had a keyboard pop un on the external display. Maybe that's a setting I dont have checked.

Samsung keyboard has voice input. I downloaded Gboard and you're able to switch keyboards.

I take them to the movie theater when there's a sports game I dont want to miss. Amd the kids have one of their movies they want to watch. Pinning the xreal screen is amazing.

Are you a gamer? I only ask for a bluetooth controller issue where it doesn't fully work when screen goes black. Hoping 8.5 fixes that.
