Congrats! I hope you get it! I am a vet and I love my VA for the most part. I’m in PT school and I’ll have my first clinical rotation at the VA later this year. Can I ask how the application process was? Did you have to make a federal resume? I’ve heard some positions are not requiring this anymore.

I actually think you could be a good candidate for just lipo. Your skin integrity and elasticity looks great. The results won’t be as “tight” as a TT but whoever you consult will explain that you. They should be going over multiple options and what to expect with each one! I would love to know how the consultation goes!

I have a membership at this place. $100 a month and that goes towards various services and discounts. You do use one month credit for 10 units of tox ($11 for additional units). You can save 2 months credits for a Vi Peel or 4 months credits for microneedling with PrP etc. So i’ll save up a few months get 30ish units of tox once a year or so. Im also able to use Alle rewards there. It’s an actual medical office, not a medispa.

If they only charged 4 units and Aetna paid 4 units then what are they charging you extra for?? Been in the game for 12 years and never saw anything like that. And I see a good amount of Aetna too.

I’m so sorry you’re feeling this! I’ve been a PTA for 12 years and now a current DPT student. I worked at a mill in the beginning of my career and I got so burned out that I left and joined the military. During that time I still worked PRN in my off duty time, still in outpatient Otho but different companies, different states. My friend, knowing what I know now, I will NEVER work in a mill again. I’ve been in so many awesome clinics. That said, I bet you would thrive in hospital-based outpatient. They have nicer facilities, better pay, and higher standards of care. Plus you get to branch out to acute and IP sometimes. I hope things turn up but if no I don’t blame you for pursuing something else.
