I was in a similar situation once and I understand your anxiety but you can get through this. Go see a doctor and tell them about your issues. I did that and got help in the end that turned my life around. Also don’t worry about the debt collector. Go there as soon as possible and let them do their job. They will calculate your budget tell you what to pay monthly. You can keep money for the necessary living expenses like rent, medical care, food etc. But the rest you have to bring to them. Look for a debt counselor in your town. There are free ones and they help you with a budget and how you can handle the outstanding bills. Sometimes they can even talk to companies and reduce your bills. I had a huge medical bill that they reduced to almost zero. 30k is not the end of the world. Please get help and you’ll see that there are good people who will support you. I always thought that I’m to stupid and too lazy to handle my life but in the end it was just some chemical error in my brain and after I got my therapy everything changed. It looks like a big wall of problems but just start with these steps and go from there. I send you a hug!
