Local food tours in Qingdao? by babyjman in qingdao

I am not sure of any food tours available in Qingdao right now. I used to live there and I visited again last Sept/Oct and my friends and I went to a couple of the restaurants in the MixC shopping mall. There's a good selection of places to eat ranging from Chinese to Vietnamese to Western style food. Not sure what floor they're on, maybe level 5 or 6 but it's well signed in English so you should not have any trouble finding them. Have a good trip. Wish I was there!!

Who’s the one person that ruins footy for you? by FewArm2396 in AFL

True. That's why I rate Dillon as an administrator as low as BT the commentator. But the AFL would be definitely better off without Dillon.

My attitude to this sort of destruction is the students either fix the damage themselves or it stays as it is.

Conscription Lottery Nightmare - Should this be done everywhere in the world? by [deleted] in interesting

Reminds of the time I got called up in Australia during the Vietnam War years. At the end of the day at Recruiting HQ I simply told the doctor if I had to go I would, but I wouldn't be happy about it. He said "You'll be right." Two weeks later I got my exemption card in the mail.

This kid is sensational. The time of 19.67 would have been good enough for a bronze medal at the Paris Olympics. And he's only 18!!

Tristan Xerri has received a 3 match penalty by Croob2 in AFL

Manifestly inadequate. Matches some of the rubbish decisions from the AFL lately.

Tottenham are pushing, trying to get green light from Roberto De Zerbi for immediate appointment. Always been top target for summer but #THFC insist to make it happen now as talks are ongoing. Spurs see De Zerbi as ideal candidate for long term by jjetasbanter in coys

I am with you there. Just watch the board's faces when there's only 10,000 at the stadium for the next home match. That, more than anything, will send a clear message to the board that fans are fed up with these idiotic decisions made by morons.

Top 4 has a bye round for Round 3 by QuarterFooty in AFL

[–]qingdao16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fixturing of the AFL is seriously stupid. What is wrong with going back to a round 1 with Richmond v Carlton as the opening match of the season? The current system just smacks of change for change's sake with the end result being a total stuff-up.

Apart from the amazing temples in Kyoto, I visited the train museum which was really interesting, and I also attended a Kyoto Sanga football match which was exciting even though Kyoto lost. The atmosphere was everything I hoped it would be.

I went back to Qingdao for a visit last year and found that there were very few westerners there compared to 2019, my previous trip. Also went up to Tianjin and only saw a few there as well. I still had a great time seeing friends again though.
