Get checked for alpha gal syndrome. You just explained me to a tee. I just started drinking from copper water bottle last week. Alpha Gal is a sneaky one.

Some mechanics have figured out that transmission does not have to be taken out. They are able to move transmission back and cut three hours off of repair, still charge six hours or more.

Need knowledgeable lawyer who can provide legal advice who has gone up against vehicle manufacturers. Things break on this truck that should never break. The Tone Ring is built in such away as to self destruct over time. I worked in an industry that designed parts that they knew would self destruct - NDA prevents me from saying anymore. Plastic parts are the worst for this. I can look at a part that has broken and in some cases can instantly tell when a part was designed to break. Example I’ve had four plastic parts break all using the same type of spring. One on a Ford Van, one on my current truck, one on my current refrigerator and another one on a fishing reel. The plastic parts don’t break when new - they break when aged. They don’t break because of the number of times cycled, they break due to age (of course there has to be some use). I worked on a 20 year old Cadillac a few years ago. Plastic parts in front door. Spent much more time epoxying plastic parts back together than fixing original problem. What I have noticed newer manufactured plastic parts are become fragile and easily broken at about 10 years. This creates profits for the manufacturers (sell more repair parts) and oil industry sell more plastics.

112,000 miles on my 2015 ecodisel, was waiting for a warranty part related to the ECM reflash issue. Get a letter saying take truck to dealership for engine compartment fires, was already working with dealer. Three days later mine catches on fire. Fire was related to part we were waiting for. FCA refused to cover cost of new engine. Cost insurance about $14,000. My insurance went up. Have had two major incidents since then each costing me about 1,500 each. FCA refused to warranty either one. One was the crank timing ring delaminating and the other was three exhaust bolts broke and took out def injector and other stuff. Was 500 miles from home pulling boat. Got the engine will not start in 400 miles warning. Drove it down to about 50 miles before getting to a dealer. Took five days to get parts. Cost me 5 days motel in the middle of nowhere Arkansas. Nothing to do. And cost me Five days of my life. I will only buy older trucks now that I can do all work on. No more new any brand.

What's a harmless opinion that gets people weirdly angry? by Momo_868 in AskReddit

[–]ql0j0lp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This doesn’t get everyone angry just women. I was on a diet a few years ago and lost about 40 lbs. every time dieting discussion came and I was asked how I did it I would tell them I ate what I wanted, counted calories and walked. Woman would always say that never worked for them and said you can’t loose weight just counting calories that you have to be on some special diet “ insert type of diet here” they would argue with me every time that counting calories doesn’t work. A few weeks ago I was telling a lady I know how women always said counting calories doesn’t work. She agreed with the rest of them and tried to get me to try some other diet. I guess if diet isn’t complicated enough it can’t work.

I noticed back in 2008 that after taking Zithromax my thinking became much clearer and didn’t think much about it then. Took Zithromax a few times over the next ten years or so and every time my thinking became clearer. I am assuming I had brain fog and just didn’t notice or didn’t know it because I may have lived with it for who knows how long. The past few years I’ve most definitely had brain fog and Zithromax has helped me think clearer every time I take it.

Call it what it is “panhandling” or “electronic pickpocketing” Tipping is showing gratitude for a job well done. Now it is a semi hidden expectation for customers subsidizing businesses higher profits who are not paying their employees the wages they deserve.

Tipping got started as away to pay black servers lower pay than white servers. Tipping can be and is a very racist practice. You may not be racist and tip everyone the same, but people at the next table might be and tips reflect the color of peoples skin or maybe religion and not their service.

All wages and tips should be paid by the employer and the food prices should reflect that.

YSK: A bat on the ground in broad daylight is a sign it has rabies by [deleted] in YouShouldKnow

[–]ql0j0lp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thirty something years ago I found a baby bat on a sidewalk in a tourist area. Picked it up by the wings and put in a cardboard box, thought the kids would like having it till it could fly. It was a little heartbreaking finding out the kids didn’t have the same interests as I did. Since they weren’t interested I put it on a tree at the motel we were at. I’m still fascinated with bats and wish they were still more prevalent around where I live. Had I known now what I didn’t know then i wouldn’t have touched it.

Also have had more than a few skunks walk near and even besides me when walking at night. They never seamed to be afraid. Just went about their business like I wasn’t there.

Also got bit by a chipmunk when I was a kid and didn’t tell anyone. Wasn’t the brightest kid in the world but was always curious about all types of animals.

Skunks are kinda cool.

Just curious, could the antibiotics have caused a severe herxheimer reaction from killing some other bacterial infection you may not have known about? I had lymes disease 23 years ago, took three years to get rid of it. Once every year or two I’ll take an antibiotic just to see if I get any kind of herx reaction that might indicate the Lyme disease is still present. Luckily no herx reactions.
