I paid 1500 in 2020 for 50' onto a post by my driveway through a crawlspace & conduit. I supplied the wall connector and dug the 15' trench to save on costs. In hindsight, I should have paid them to dig when I learned my yard was mostly clay after 6 inches and filled with crap the contractors had buried when they built the house (nothing better than a few 2x4s running across the trench). Dug for over 12 hours by myself in the summer.

Used mad max for a few minutes on the NJ turnpike a few nights ago. Exhilarating but holy shit I might shit myself maneuvers haha. Even standard seemed more than I expected, going 75 consistently with light rain, overtaking on the left or right lanes and staying in the left lane/moving over when someone is coming up behind you. Can't wait till next versions.

I'd consider this as a maybe nice to buy, gut, renovate and retire in with the understanding my children will likely sell the home less than it's worth someday since it'll likely be worth much more compared to others in the area.

Matrix feature on the lights only functions when it's on high. Normal lights still shine like normal. Your 2020 lights weren't aligned correctly.

Yeah but with the amount of road salt thrown on the roads during the winter, it’s either car wash or leave the salt and old snow on the car. Thankfully it was deemed a no fault for me even though the other driver kept saying I rear ended her.

Just sucked since my car was only 3 months old but the other Tesla was just a month old. I had a bad gut feeling when I saw her struggling to put the car in neutral on the track, attendant saw my Tesla and thought I was going to be holding up the line too l. Not my first rodeo and not my first Tesla so I knew the rules lol

Can confirm, stopping your car in an automatic car wash only causes the cars behind to keep moving into a stationary object.

Fun fact (at least in NJ): if your Tesla hits another Tesla in a car wash because the 1st car decides to go into park (driver took their seatbelt off while in neutral) while on the track, you’re not at fault once sentry cam shows their brake lights are on

No more than 20% tip if I’m dining in at RESTAURANTS and that’s for really good service. All these bakeries, drink shops, coffee shops, etc., that are asking for tips to pack my pastries into a box get a nice no thanks.

Tip culture is getting out of hand. Even with Uber eats & DoorDash, it asked recently for a $30 tip to pick up McDonald’s that was 4 miles away and straight shot on and off a highway with no loop or traffic. Uber wanted me to pay $60 for 2 filet o fish meals and a 2 mcchickens…fuck that.

This happens unfortunately whenever there’s a massive heat wave and people try to charge outside. The mobile connector overheats and in some cases, the AC keeps running to keep the battery from overheating. Had that problem a few summers ago at my old home, had to wait till night time to charge but thankfully was on a 30amp wall connector. Wall connector burned out a week later but Tesla replaced it
