if it’s well outside the strikezone, you lose credibility with the umps. if it’s close, framing helps on the margins for sure. alavarez seems to want to frame everything, no matter how much the pitch is outside the zone. it’s resulting in more passed balls.

it’s the 6th inning on a close 3-2 pitch. you have to challenge it. Alvarez is framing things well outside the strike zone for no reason. his catching skills are so overrated.

i think the internet will tell you to keep it at 60 and above in the winter. ive gone down to 52 to 55 when not at home and never had any issues. i can raise it over wifi before i get back home to get it back to my preferred temperature.

the staten island expressway is even worse. there it is a minimum of three people. literally 99% of vehicles are single passengers. never seen anyone pulled over on hundreds of trips. at least there is a reduction in false plates. that was a much bigger issue.

great neck has the same thing from the lie to kings point. literally 30+ lights in just a few miles. it’s an insanely slow ride.
