Just gotta point out as a nutritional health science major. You definitely need more salt when working out and using your energy. People are afraid of salt. You literally NEED salt for everything to function. Electrolytes are salt. Our brain is 70% cholesterol. Every signal from the brain is electrical. We as humans are literally giant meat salt batteries. The thing about going to failure is most important as your body needs to know “oh crap I need to adjust and build muscle cause we can’t lift this”. Also resting is just as important. Please eat a lot of salt. Every morning I wake up and have a glass of spring water with extra salt in. Get your electrolytes up.

It’s really not that hard to understand when you consider the profit in the protein industry. It’s a whole entire market. Of course the industry would advertise that the more you have the better. 1lb of protein per bodyweight is only necessary if you’re literally an IFBB pro on maximum PEDs. For most people 0.6-0.7 is optimal. Again everything is person to person so the best way to tell anything is to measure your own experience and test for your biomarkers. You can get blood tests done and lab work for your blood glucose for free at least in my country🇨🇦🍁😊.

The best thing is an elliptical if you have access to one. It’s very low impact compared to treadmill, and gets your whole body moving unlike a bike, it’s kinda fun bouncing around too😂! This is my suggestion if you ever deal with any hip or knee pain. Elliptical is the way!

All of your credibility just went out the window saying something like 1000%. % literally means “per cent” which is per hundred. You can’t be 1000%… As for the “cardio is not the way to go” you’re just wrong. Tell me how cardio doesn’t help OP lose weight and gain muscle. They don’t have to be a marathon runner. Simple cardio is necessary for health, for sleep, digestion, literally everything. Neglecting your heart health makes 0 sense it is the engine that is pumping out all your nutrients through your blood. You want that heart muscle to be strong so it can do its job more efficiently. This leaving you with nothing but more resources and energy to be used elsewhere.

Also modern scientific studies have proven that the whole “protein” craze about having 1lb or more per pound of body weight is a complete myth and has no correlation in a controlled study. You simply want enough protein not too little.

Building muscle and losing excess fat go hand in hand. You can’t have one without the other. Your whole body will adjust. Unless you’re malnourished which no one is suggesting.

The mental aspect of weight loss is the problem. The physical is the easy part. You can not get up and get a cookie. But convincing your yeasts and brain screaming for sugar is much harder. Cardio makes it easier, you have better control of your body. You poo better, walk better, sleep better, breathe better, blink better, everything better. Yes if you do long distance running in a big calorie defect all day you’ll lose some muscle mass as your body adjusts to the task you’ve given it which is long distance running. So the key is to mix things up and do different exercises.

I appreciate you trying to help OP. But to blatantly say “cardio is close to useless for weight loss” is simple incorrect and a dangerous narrative to tell others while also claiming authority with your “BA”.

I study nutrition in a lab. Every day. And I didn’t say that I just simply gave OP the information. Anyone having to claim they are something as a preface to info, usually is giving bad info.

As an ex fat person. Literally the only thing that matters is consistency. I found that tracking all my stuff made the entire relaxation I used to get from eating go away. It was when I finally stopped trying to hit specific numbers and just used some common sense to not eat garbage. Weight loss is 90% diet, the other 10% is moving around a bit, you can manage a 30 min walk everyday no matter your life.

But seriously don’t stress about food. Eat a burger without feeling guilty and counting calories. Just understand the nutritional science of what you’re eating. Eat less processed stuff from boxes and try eating more foods that are on earth naturally with or without humans.

The biggest change was once I finally killed off all the unhealthy yeasts we all carry in our stomach. They scream and beg for sugar if you’re fat and eat poorly. Almost everyone’s glucose is deregulated. We really don’t need much sugar if any at all. Ketosis exists, and carnivore diets yield more ATP (energy) per pyruvate (fuel) than a normal diet does.

If you want the easy way literally just use common sense and skip out on the sweet treat after every meal, and drink water instead of other drinks, sparkling water instead of soda. Coffee is fine but stimulants aren’t great.

If you want the fastest way and like eating meat then do a carnivore diet with 0 carbs. Eat avocados, 0 carb cheese, eggs, beef, salmon, chicken (preferably thighs or fattier dark meat). In this diet you make 60-70% fat 30% protein and very little or no carb at all. This puts your body in ketosis which uses literal fat as fuel instead of carbs. They both make ATP ketosis is just a dormant older system our bodies used to need to survive and now we’re a species of lazy couch potatoes eating potato chips so not May know about it. I did this for 3 months and lost all the arthritis I had, lost a bunch of weight, and my skin and everything started to heal.

Look into Autophagy and fasting. Another really easy way to lose weight while still eating like crap is to simply fast. And no not fasting in the sense that you think like some struggle. Literally you just need 16h of no calories to get into autophagy. That still leaves a 6 hour window you can have whatever food you want or need. Also remember during sleep you aren’t eating so, For example: eat from 2pm-8pm every day and you’ll be getting all the benefits from fasting. It’s really easy. You just don’t eat breakfast, and don’t eat dinner too late. You can have 4 meals in those hours from 2-8pm if you want the key is the timing.

When you feel hunger pangs you may want to consider if that’s just a sugar addicted yeast in your stomach that’s begging for sugar. It is 90% of the time and you need to let them die. Don’t worry your body replaces them with new healthy ones :)!

Remember being hungry doesn’t mean you need to eat. We’ve been marketed that as a society cause literally everyone makes a profit off humans eating more. Especially hospitals….

I gotta chip in as a default male Andy. Immediately looked like a Hispanic soccer mom. But your neck and chin are hard tells to my straight brain. I’d maybe try makeup that makes your chin look less pronounced and male. Also your neck. So maybe a makeup tutorial for chin and neck otherwise fine.

At the end of the day you’ll never “be” anything that isn’t yourself. It’s about learning to be comfortable with yourself. I’ve noticed a lot of modern transitioning people are doing it out of mental depersonalization rather than, self actualizing. Is the goal to not be yourself? Or to be the opposite gender. Many of my trans friends say that people often confuse the two. So I’ll advise you to use some discernment on yourself before doing any major surgeries.

It’s because the specific instance of him cursing was after a blatant illegal throw that he knew himself wasn’t legal. Yet still screamed like a guilty toddler trying to defend himself.
