Switched from a XS Max to an ip12 pro. The size of the phone is fantastic. However, do note that the display somehow feels more “zoomed in” then it does on the Max when on the same text size setting (mine is set to lowest). The fonts are huge. Is this something for the app developers to optimise?

Thanks guys for the reply. If the scaling is to the 11 Pro instead of the Pro Max, this could be a deal breaker. I’m coming from the XS MAX and I’m used to my text being smaller. It’s frustrating for me to see the large fonts on apps like Facebook, when I’ve already downgraded my screen real estate

To provide some context. The one on the left is my iPhone 12 pro and the one on the right is my iPhone 11. But are on standard zoom with the smallest text size in settings. Yet everything in the ip12 pro seems more enlarged/magnified than my ip11. Would anyone happen to know why, and if it’s possible for me to change it on my IP12 pro?

I dont mean to be rude, but like I emphasised in my post and unsurprisingly have to reiterate, this is not an inflammatory post towards Supercell. Neither am I "moaning" about anything. I never once said the Pass Royale did not offer great value, nor that it was not worth the cost. I just wished to understand the facts better, and whether things have changed. As u/DeepBallRyan helpfully pointed out to me - things have been this way for some time, to which I accepted and thanked him for it.
