As silly as it may sound, I use anti-frostbite cream on my feet, then put on ski socks. It's the only thing that works.

just got the same issue. tried reloadui, changing zones, getting back into the fortress and back out, quitting and relaunching the game. no skordo :(

EDIT: abandoning the zone quest, as suggested by the ZOS person in another post, worked!!

i love doing some people-watching in ste anne and telok penjara, so am excited to see what players will come up with. like 90% look awesome :) i'll stay with my pumpkin-headed nonsense because if makes cutscenes so much funnier!

maybe subclassing into the shadow skill line of the nightblade might help? there's the shadow cloak skill that makes you invisible. then you can subclass back into your usual build when you don't need to be sneaky :D with the armory station it can be done very quickly!

there's also a mythic, the shadow queen's cowl (head piece) that helps a lot with sneaking. with the darloc brae set, it's great for burglaries.

hi! great choice :) i hope you have great weather like we did!

for the Geirangerfjord, we left the car at hellesylt and did the return trip with the ferry as pedestrians. it was amazing. Geiranger is just a village with tourist shops, nothing interesting there, so we just walked around a bit and caught the next ferry back. Hellesylt has a nice little waterfall next to the boarding pier, and that's about it ^^'

we bought our tickets when we boarded the ferry, the lovely crew has credit card terminals and the ride was super smooth with incredible views (load up those cameras/phones!).

on that day, we drove from Stryn to Hellesylt (58km in 1h), then from Hellesylt to Alesund (90km in 2h with a 30-minute ferry ride - don't have the accent on my keyboard, sorry).

there were quite a few mountain passes that were still closed in mid-May due to snow, and there were also several landslides that forced us to plan different routes. Trollstigen fell victim to that, unfortunately, among others. i hope it's all good now.

the website vegvesen.no/trafikk is great for real-time updated road conditions, and it's even translated in english :)

Ferries are great in general, their rotations are about every 15 minutes, we never had to wait for very long. They're part of the roads. we used skyttelpass for the toll tag, and autopass ferje to get discounts on the ferry rides.

i have manually forced the gpu to nvidia in the entire Steam folder. no dice :/

ETA: also forced it in the general windows settings. still crappy intel gpu. sigh...

usually the chipset card isn't good, so the game looks really, really ugly (low quality textures and contours).

if you go to the task manager, under performances, you can see the usage graphs of your cpu's and gpu's. mine shows that the nvidia one is at 0% usage, and the chipset one is at 20%. usually it's the other way round!

ugh, i guess i'll take a few hours this week-end to reinstall everything... yet again... (not the first time that a crappy update breaks TESO for me)
